I'm a down to earth country girl from Tennessee. I love spending my time mostly in the outdoors. You can on most days find me camping, canoeing, four wheel riding..or sitting by a camp fire with friends having some cold beers. I love short cut off blue jean shorts and ofcourse..any country girls favorite.. cowboy boots. I enjoy and appreciate the simple things in life. I'm just a genuine Tennessee Country Girl through and through.

I have grown up on a farm in Tennessee ..Helped with the farm and enjoyed every minute of it..I am a true country girl inside and out. I have had to move to North Carolina away from my daddys farm and going back there to visit and riding the four wheelers on his 500 acre farm gives me so much peace within my heart from all the struggles of everyday life.

You could pretty much sum me up by listening to Jason Aldean ~ She's Country! I love tall tops, cowboy hats, backroads, 4-wheel drive tailgates, star lit nights, the Ranch, and EVERYTHING there is to the country life!! Just because a girl knows how to clean up nice, doesn't mean she is too prissy to get her hands dirty, just means she knows how to put the true meaning in, COUNTRY GIRL!!!! It's that simple, live your life for the Lord, the fine blessings he has provided!!

I'm just a small town girl. That loves everything about the country life. For the last 5 years i've worked for a rodeo company and on the ranch. I'm not all about the glitz and the glam. Bc i know being a country girl comes from the heart and soul it's not all about the looks and what not. It's all about who you are as a person.

I was raised on a 500 head hog farm and 27 head dairy farm. I grew up castrating hogs, shoveling manure and feeding cows. My dad did most of the milking but my brothers and I would often have wars squirting milk at each other straight from the udder! Baling hay is nothing new to me, however most of the time I get lucky and get to drive the tractor. :) I showed cattle and hogs in 4H all while growing up and hope to raise my future family the same way I was. I am currently going to school in the city but can't wait to get a few acres of my own to raise my new baby pony!! I come from 6 (big) generations of strong Catholic farm families and wouldn't want it any other way.

You name it we most likely own it. I like to do the chores on the farm and I am not afraid to get dirty. That is why I think I am the perfect country girl. I came from the city and realized that I was a country girl at heart!

I am THE country girl. I live in the middle of no where there is nohting but corn fields. I look forward to see the corn in the fall or how high it gets by july. I am always wearing my boots and plaid. I was in FFA in high school and am very envolved in 4-H. There is nothing more than i love than being out in the country, sitting by the bonfire with firends and listening to the creek. My favorite time of the year is my county fair. I love the smell that is there, the people, and the feeling. Country runs thro my veins, i eat, sleep, and breath the title Country Girl.

I am the perfect country girl. All through high-school I was known as the country-girl. Grew up on a farm, where me my mother and sister raised cattle, hay, and tobacco. My first year of college I was  recognized by my cowboy boots, and my Camo or cowboy hat. I love the country. Everything about it, from the way of life, to the way we dress. Country is not a place. It's a state of mind. Not every person has this state of mind. I like to spend my free time in the great outdoors fishin, huntin, or fourwheelin. Isn't anything betther than G.R.I.T.S!

When people ask where i'm from, I reply Akron. They always have the same reply, Ohio? No Colorado. Many people don't know where my small town is, so trying to give directions to our farm is just that much harder. Out here we all grew up doing the same things, hunting, fishing, being in the FFA, and raising animals. Our summers don't consist of hanging out with friends, but working for the family farm. Our summers are busy with harvest, calving seasons, and worrying about how it's all going to work out. I'd make the perfect country girl because I can tell you how it feels to get your first horse, or your first pickup. I can tell you the joys and concerns of agriculture life. I can tell you the love for your favorite pair of wranglers that fit just right, and the sadness that goes with having to finally throw your old boots away. Getting to live in the country is an honor. I love watchin a cow give birth, and praying you see life in the little creature. I've experienced it all... way out here.

I have lived on a farm all of my life. We have pigs, cows, sheep, chickens and many pets including a goat and pony. I have shown pigs at the Pickaway County Fair for almost 10 years. I used to hate living on the farm when I was young, always wanted to live in the city, but now that I am older I am so thankful that I was raised in the country and appreciate the farm life. My grandfather is 81 years old and has owned this farm for over 55 years, still farming today. I am privileged to have been raised by my family on this farm and hope to raise my children here. I am the perfect Country Girl and proud of it.

Driving on gravel roads..going to bonfires! Dressing up from head to toe in camo to go sit in a deer lease for hours hoping to snatch up a deer or anything to shoot;)! For sure the country doesn't make u, u make the country!!I just keep taking chances and having fun! Gotta live it while you can and enjoy every moment! A Country Girl is not about how you look, it's not about what you wear and it's not about how much money you spend to look country. Being a country girl comes from the heart. I have the unique opportunity to live on a two hundred and fourteen acre farm in the middle of rural America, waking to the mooing of cows, the crying of goats and the chirping of birds. Although you don’t need to wake up on a farm to be a country girl, it certainty don’t hurt. If you awaken each morning with a smile on your face, by hearing these sounds then you are a true country girl, and I am.

From my cowboy boots to my down home roots you can tell i'm country. Grew up in the middle of a cornfield where we drove our tractors to school and had haybale tossing contests. Worked on the farm down the road and loved every minute. Not to mention the crazy times my friends and I had 4-wheeling and cow-tipping. The county fair was our favorite hang out. Then just a few days ago i married my cowboy in a beautiful country wedding complete with hats, boots and wildflowers.

I wasn't raised on a farm, but have always had that longin' for the country life, and now I'm makin' up for it. My father bought a farm in Indiana about 3 years ago and I am lovin' it. Helpin' out with the animals, the garden, field work, in the fall cuttin and splittin' firewood for the wood burning stove, ridin' around on the gator and the tractor, fishin' on the lake (or swimmin' in it!), my brothers and I will do some target practice, and at night we'll sit by a big bonfire. When I am out on the farm I am doin' all the things that I love to do, things you can't do in the city. In the country I feel I am myself. I could give a thousand reasons why I would be the perfect country girl, but to me that wouldn't be able to describe it. Bein' country isn't wearin' the clothes or the cowboy hat, it's not about shootin' guns or swimmin' in a lake. Bein' country is about feelin' country. It's a sense of pride and love in that down home, home made quality. Havin' a take no shit attitude but also having the love for your neighbors and kin. Workin' hard makin' a livin' and providing for your family and having a deep love for God and country. To me, that is what being a country girl/boy is. Thanks.

I think everyone is a little bit country girl or boy - even if it's down deep inside. My country girl comes out every time I hear one of my favorite classic country tunes from Alan Jackson, Randy Travis or even LeAnn Rimes. There's something so beautifully simplistic about the vocals, lyrics & melodies that makes it impossible for me to not crank the volume & sing along. Even the sad songs have a way of making me feel happy while I listen.

I was Raised by a my father, a special operations marine, he taught me how to live off the land, how to use a gun, and how to use a knife, fearin God was what we did, trucks are what we drive, yes sir and yes mam is how we spoke. my personality is what country is all about! my definition of country is some one who can still dress up and go in to town, look real nice like a city folk. but still wears boots, jeans, and t-shirts :) and that is me!

Hmmm why am I the perfect country girl you ask? Plain and simple. I live and breath it. I grew up riding horses at my Grandma's ranch, fishing with my old man, and doing anything and everything to get dirt under my nails. I think living in a city and still staying country at heart is what shows what you're really all about. I love the lord, and I have kept my eyes and heart on Jesus while growing up which helped me maintain my morals and values which I hope to instill into my children one day. Country music is my passion, and one day, I hope to get my name out there.

I was born and raised on a farm in the middle of Center Ridge, Arkansas. I've been a clogger (type of traditional folk dance similar to square dancing but with taps) since I was four years old and have performed with my group, the Red River Cloggers, in the Smoky Mountains of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri, and on a Carnival Cruise Ship. I've been raised on horses and all around cattle. My pets as a child were wild turkeys that we hatched, orphaned baby deer, chickens, bottle-calves, and any thing else that would sit still long enough to be caught. You'll never catch me without my pocket knife or my cowboy boots. I'm currently an animal science major at the University of Arkansas with pre-veterinary goals. My definition of fun is back-roadin' in big trucks with my buddies, blarin whatever country music we've got-usually Waylon or Red Dirt. I love fishin', trail ridin', rodeoin', and anything else outdoors. I'm a recently initiated member of the Sigma Alpha (Sisters in Agriculture) sorority, and an active member of Block and Bridle club. I love the country and I live my life as a Country Girl.

I grew up being the only girl in a house full of boys in my family. I fish, hunt, hike and shoot like crazy. I'm a female yes. I look like one although I am not girly. I represent what I feel is traditional, whole and simple. I don't value what the world does, I value the outdoors. I value the good Lord and the Country we represent, for freedom and strength. There's a difference between being country and redneck or cowgirl. I am country and regardless if you consider me or not I will remain just who I am....COUNTRY.

I wouldn't say I'm a perfect Country Girl, but I think I come pretty close, because I keep it real and simple. I live on about 15 acres. I have 4 Labradors, 8 chickens and my own pet duck named Lucy. I like to go fishing. I drive a '94 F150. I do yardwork and don't complain. I stand up for myself and for others. I help others out as much as I can. I always use sir and ma'am no matter how young or old. Sometimes I dress country, but I believe if you are a true Country Girl or Country Boy at heart, it shouldn't matter what you wear. What matters is how you carry yourself and true you are to yourself and others around you.

What certifies a girl as 100% country? Well let me tell you. I was born and raised on a dirt road smack dab in the middle of rural Pennsylvania. Growing up I climbed trees, played in creeks, and found my own worms to fish with. My brothers and I lived for summer nights when we could run outside barefoot to catch fireflies in our backyard. Every summer we looked forward to the local county fair, where I eventually served a year as fair queen at the age of 17. The morals and beliefs that my parents instilled in me were simple and straightforward. In the boondocks is where I learned about love, respect, and the importance of being proud of where you come from. I may be from a small town, but I have big dreams and and even bigger heart.

I am the perfect Country Girl because I was country before it was cool! I grew up in a small town in southern Indiana called Ogilville. I ride four-wheelers as often as I breath and I love horses. I fish just about every weekend and have been since I went for the first time with my dad at age 4. I stand out from all others because Im a chick with a truck, as the folks back home like to say. Im passionate about trucks and everything about them. I drive a Ford F150 King Ranch with a 6 inch suspension lift and enter truck shows ever year. This is my 3rd truck I have entered in a truck show and placed 1st place for Best Female Truck of Southern Indiana. But most importantly, God walks close to me everyday in everything that I do. My small town lives on great values and treating people with respect no matter who they are, and I consider myself very blessed to have grown up in a town with morals and a positive outlook on life. Small town country living is all I know and all I love. I will forever be a Southern Bell no matter where my life may take me.

I grew up in the country my whole life. My dad is a farmer, and we own our own planting and feirtalizing company. When I would get out of school dad would call for help, and he knew I was on my way. My dad has taught me how to round cattle, drive combines, do harvest, plant, mix cimicals, and gave me my own two bulls and herford cow. They are BIG and doing well. Working on the farm as made a huge influince in my life. I have a knowledge of alot of things. I also learned how to two step very well. I try to make it out at least once a month to dance with my friends. I love country music, expecially Jason Aldean. I love him so much that I got a tatoo on my back that says She's Country Kansas Princess. I live by that all the time. Now I am working in a big hospital here in Kansas and loving my job. I plan on going on to get my RN, and maybe even go to vet school for the side. I would have never cared to be a nurse if it wasn't for my dad showing me how to give shots to the cows, helping them give birth, and geting them ready for the meat locker. There for though all my experinces I call my self a Country Girl.

As it has been said, "country is not a location," but who you are and what you believe. Location doesn't hurt though :-) I'm Texas born n bred. While other kids were leaning on rap/hip hop. I let my soul sour with the Judds, Garth, and Randy. I've been bare foot on the blacktop all my life and i ain't changing anytime soon. I've been picked on, made fun of, and laughed at, but if you ain't tuff you ain't country ;) To me country is just appreciating what is simple. Being thankful and enjoying what the good Lord has blessed you with. I was country before country was considered cool. Now my country values has become something people appreciate and long for themselves. Country is a love that longs for creek beds and bayous, backroads and no shoes...and I'm all COUNTRY!

Well I pretty much grew up outside. I've trained and rode horses for 12 years now. They are my life. I can ride just as well as I can walk on my own feet. I'm taking environmental tech at a career tech center. My world revolves around being outside. Growing up on 20 acres of land has been the best thing for me. I hunt and fish. I drive a Dodge Ram Cummins, and a Chevy Suburban. In the summer you can find me swimming in creeks, towing my horses to lakes to trail ride, or bush hogging. In the winter I'm out hunting or tearing up the icy roads in my trucks. I don't really call myself country, I'm just being me, how I've always been. And I couldn't be anymore happy with my life the way it is :)

I've been told i must have been born on a horse. Raised around them and was riding before i could walk. Only job i've ever had even as a kid was at a ranch. Now i'm training and competing with some of the best in the Canadian rodeo world. Never see me without boots and a hat (not even to highschool prom ;). When i'm not on a horse or hauling a trailor load of horses; i'm working around the farm, helping another on theirs, on a quad looking for all the mudd holes or decked out in camo and carrying a gun! Being country isn't just about looking and acting the part! A true country girl/boy truly feels it in their heart, lives the part and woundn't dream of having it any other way!

It isn't the fake Stetson at Stampede time, or the wanna-be boots with rhinestones that makes a cowgirl. It takes a willingness to get down and dirty when the job requires it, and to let your wild side show every other minute of the day. All my available time revolves around riding in my Q-Babies and Pro-Babies, dancing at the Great Canadian Barn Dance every weekend, and loving on my man. All of what it takes to be a genuine cowgirl are things that I have. That is what makes me the perfect REAL Country Girl.

I am the perfect Country Girl because I've grown up in a one floor house on 2 acres of land surrounded by 8 farms. I worked on a few of those farms and then continued to work on friends farms with cows and crops. After graduating high school, I proceeded on to Shippensburg University which is also surrounded by many farms and horse stables. My best friend and I are currently trying to train ex-race horses as well as save rescue horses and get them back up to their speed. No matter where I go, farms or college, I always have the country rugged way in my heart and that is visible through all my actions.

Hey Ya' all!! I am the perfect country girl because I am PROUD to be country!!! Country is a choice for me I choose this lifestyle on my own. I can remember back in school when country wasn't the so called "cool" thing but I was proud of my boots and belt. I rocked them!! All my friends would jokingly tease and call me Redneck when I wore my camo or my cow girl hat, but I loved it. This was me! I still am the same way today riding in a Chevy truck with my 4 wheeler on the back jamming to some George Strait!! Country is not just a way of life it's a state of mind and I am proud of my roots. I love being a country girl, being outside getting dirty enjoying life for what its worth. Appreciating what you have and spending time with those that matter most..family!! I love Sundays with family and that great home cookin' like chicken and dumplings..mmmm! I am a girlie country girl though I love to get fixed up and look nice in my wranglers and boots :) So I would love this opportunity to be the next country girl and show America that the country lifestyle really is the way to be. Be proud to rock your boots and get down hillbilly style ya' all!!!!

I think being a quintessential country girl is in the way you think, not how you talk. It’s a pride you feel that makes you walk the walk. Being a country girl is about being a genuine lady saying yes mam’ and knowing how you were raised. It’s a state of mind no matter where you’re from and you live like your grandma did. It comes from good home training which is not a common thing these days. I grew up in the city of a small country town called Louisburg where you are kin to half of the county and know the other half well. From the time I was three years old, my grandparents who kept me when I was young while my parents worked, sat me in front of the television with a bowl of butterbeans or peas to shell, corn to silk or snaps to snap. I would stand on a stool and help grandma transfer the turnip salad from one sink to another to wash all the grits away. I would help granddaddy roll out fencing to put around the garden to try and keep the deer from eating my vegetables and catch squirrels in traps to release out in the country far away. My great grandma would get my britches for playing in the tobacco without my shoes and getting sticky when going to her farm. While helping to do the shelling of the vegetables, my aunt and I enjoyed watching the Gene Autry and Roy Rogers western shows. We liked them so much that Frog and Tadpole became our family nicknames after Gene’s sidekick Frog Millhouse and his little brother Tadpole on the show. I wanted to be born twenty years prior because this life seemed so grand – the true ways, morals and values of the Wild West. I decided to change my whole bedroom to denim with bandana curtains and boot rugs. I worked cleaning and organizing people’s houses to buy my first pair of cowboy boots when I went to Nashville, Tennessee. My grandparents became friends with John Anderson through being regular groupees at concerts, and I got to go to Nashville’s Fan Fair each summer. I ran around getting every autograph I could. Sitting around on Friday and Saturday night

So I'm not exactly a country girl, but not a city girl either. Sure, I like the excitement of cities, but the noise, pollution, and crimes aren't exactly perfect. And country life is not a piece of pie, either. Farm work, caring for pets, seasonal allergies, and different things other people enjoy. So I guess I'm a town girl! Still has the hustle-and-bustle of cities, the serenity of the country, but without unpleasant add-ons!!

In the world today it's so easy to turn from your roots & change with the times, but nothing could be closer to heaven than ridding free across an open field. And yes it's true I'd rather muck a stall than clean my house lol. I still talk with that southern draw & my favorite black dress is a T-shirt & jeans. I believe that fixing a fence ain't just for the boys. It's work maintaining 15 horses & 40 acres, but I wouldn't trade it for anything in this world!

I grew up listening to country music because my dad was a cowboy at heart stuck in the wrong place. Growing up one of the most pleasant sounds was the sound of my dad's cowboy boots walking down the walkway. My dad never even owned a pair of shoes, he'll wear cowboy boots with a tux. I live in the middle of farm country (the closest mall is 45 minutes away). I've always been around cows, horses, tractors, fields, country fairs, the whole deal. I worked on a dairy farm for 4 years starting when I was fourteen, it was a tie stall with 80 head. Just this summer they cut back on employees, so I left to work at a new dairy in a parlor with 180 head. I love it there, and I'm going to Penn State for Agricultural Science next year. I wear work boots and blue jeans every day. I own my own Ford pickup which I fixed up myself, and bought with my own hard-earned money. You won't catch my parents buying me anything. I listen to country music, bail hay, go mudding, go hunting, farm, and work my ass off for a living. I'm not a wannabe or a fake, not just a cute girl with a straw hat that claims she's a cowgirl. This is real hick country chick you're dealing with here. Think you can handle it???

I am the perfect Country Girl because I grew up in PA in the middle of the woods. I would spend my summer days exploring the woods, fishing and catching frogs in the frogs in the pond. In the winter I would ride around on my snowmobile down the street with my sleid attached and go to the drop off. It was a steep hill that had a creek at the bottom. There were times that I did end up in it. When my parents divorced I had to move to the suburbs of NJ. But like they say you can take the girl out of the country, but you cant take the country out of the girl. My friends and I find places to go muddin, which is really hard to do because the police are a lot stricter here. We count down the days until Sunday night when we go country line dancing and ride the mechanical bull. A lot of people I meet think its crazy that all the songs on my ipod are country, but I still keep adding more. Once I finish school and start my career I plan on moving out west and starting a family.

I’m here to prove that a country girl has nothing to do with where you live or what you have. Being a country girl is about having the attitude of a pistol, confidence in herself and her beliefs, a personality that sparkles and shows respect to everyone she encounters. She works her butt off at the things she does and is proud of her roots, no matter where they are planted. She has a deep love for animals and loves when she gets to ride or play with anything that makes her feel free. A perfect day is doing anything outdoors, and she doesn’t think twice about getting her boots on to go play in the dirt. Honor towards her family and loyal to her friends, she is the woman you want on your side, the woman you know you’ll always have a good time with, and the woman you want next to you when there’s tough work to get done. This is my definition of a country girl and it also describes me. Work hard play hard, and I wouldn’t change a thing.

I think I'm the perfect country girl because I have what it takes to be country. Saying I'm from New Jersey often makes people confused because they think New Jersey is just all city and highways, but the small town of Wantage is the complete opposite. I enjoy being in the outdoors, fishing & hunting. I shot my first deer when I was only ten years old and I was also involved in 4-H for quite some time. I enjoy hanging out with my friends by a nice bonfire and listening to country music. My family also has a house in Southern Illinois where we spend a few weeks in the summer just enjoying the country. I think I define a country girl, because in the country everything is laid back and simple, and that's me!
